PR Collaboration
A large part of building a brand is creating its image. Working on a small, tight-knit team, I was able to sit right next to our Marketing Director and collaborate with her daily. Below are a few of the many projects we worked on together.
SXSW LIFESTYLE PHOTOS WITH ADAM LEVINE COLLECTION SPRING/SUMMER 2016
We had the amazing opportunity to send our Spring/Summer 2016 line to SXSW to be photographed by the talented Becky Yee. Prior to the shoot, I had a phone conversation with Becky where we discussed the logistics of what the shoot would entail. We wanted the photos to be fun, spontaneous, and not forced. Becky's on-the-fly shooting technique worked perfectly as she pulled festival-goers out of the crowd and offered them a chance to model our clothes in exchange for keeping what they modeled. Becky is an expert at capturing the right mood and these are her photographs of products that I designed for Kmart.
ADAM LEVINE COLLECTION SHOW, FASHION WEEK FALL 2015
One of my favorite moments while working on the Adam Levine Collection was the fashion show we did for Fall 2015. I had gotten married the weekend before, but I rushed back to make sure I could be there to call the shots for the women's line and walk down the runway myself! I directed the casting of the women's models and selected all of the looks. Backstage we raced about putting the looks in order, giving direction for hair and makeup, and managing the final looks before the models hit the runway. US Weekly covered the show in a 2-page spread, including a photo of me - it was a truly unforgettable event!
ADAM LEVINE COLLECTION LAUNCH EVENT, “THE RACK”, SUMMER 2014
Out in Los Angeles, our crew gathered at a blank gallery space for the launch event of the Adam Levine Women’s Collection. Our guests arrived to find a rack of clothes in a spotlight slightly unsure of what to expect. Soon enough, young models dressed in simple black garments stepped up to the rack and started changing into the brightly colored Summer 2014 Collection, shocking the audience. Once it was obvious these were models, the audience got in on the act trying on pieces themselves!
